Rahmad is ruled by a djinn, known as Siffe’a. He has taken the title of Pasha, and erected a great walled city on the bank of the river called Kashar-al-Kir.
Rahmad and Al-Shaddar war sporadicially, neither able to overcome the other. Siffe’a uses wind magic to conjure great storms to harry Al-Shaddar. The Shaddarin Knights, as a result, have become very accustomed to surviving in the desert storms, and harsh climates of the Osad region.
Kain retaliates by seeking out powerful magics and unleashing fire upon Rahmad. However, Rahmad has grown to withstand the onslaught of the Fires and desert heat by using specially designed architecture and blessings.
Priests and those who hold sway over the divine are revered greatly in both kingdoms. Mercenaries are as plentiful as bandits. However, arcane spellcasters are feared for their destructive abilities and potential fire control.
